Who provides the service

These Terms govern the NewPal website, dashboard and companion apps. By accepting them, you enter an agreement with the operator identified above. Our initial launch serves families in the United States and Israel. If you do not agree, do not create an account or enable the companion.

Parents, guardians and child access

You must be at least 18 and have authority to act for each child you add. Children use a parent-managed profile rather than accepting a separate adult contract. Provide accurate account and eligibility information, protect your login, and grant family access only to appropriate adults. You are responsible for selecting settings, supervising use and reviewing important information.

Child access depends on completion of applicable parental notice and consent. Accepting these Terms is separate from consenting to child-data processing. The current child experience supports ages 7–12; availability and supported features may change with notice where required.

What the companion can and cannot do

The companion is artificial intelligence, not a human, therapist, doctor, teacher or emergency service. Responses, links, memories and safety classifications may be inaccurate, inappropriate or incomplete. Verify important information with a qualified person. Do not rely on the app for diagnosis, treatment, emergency detection or other decisions that could cause serious harm.

The service responds to submitted requests. It does not continuously listen, observe the screen, guarantee danger detection, guarantee delivery of alerts or replace a trusted adult. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Optional features and device permissions may affect functionality.

Your information and privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, service providers, international processing, retention and parent rights. You retain rights you have in your submitted content. You authorize us and our service providers to process it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service in accordance with the policy and your permissions. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to publish private family conversations.

Only submit information you have authority to provide. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information and material about other people. You can manage permissions and request export or deletion through the parent controls. Withdrawal may disable features that depend on the withdrawn permission.

Acceptable use and service ownership

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the service under these Terms. Do not misuse it to harm or exploit children, infringe others’ rights, distribute unlawful material, impersonate others, defeat access or safety controls, extract another family’s information, or disrupt the service. Do not attempt to reverse engineer components except where applicable law permits.

We and our licensors retain rights in the software, branding and service materials. AI output may not be unique and may be subject to third-party rights; we do not guarantee ownership or exclusivity in every generated response. Third-party sites and services have their own terms, and a generated link is not an endorsement.

Fees and subscriptions

If we offer paid features, the price, billing period, renewal terms and applicable cancellation information will be shown before purchase. Store purchases are processed under that store’s payment and refund rules, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Cancel a subscription using the purchase channel; uninstalling the app or deleting a profile is not necessarily cancellation. We will not impose an undisclosed fee through these Terms.

Availability, changes and ending use

We may update, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal obligations or product changes. We will provide notice and remedies where required by law. We may restrict accounts that materially violate these Terms or present a security or safety risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and allow you to contact support.

You can stop using the service and request account or child-profile deletion. Our data-handling obligations continue according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to export information before a planned service closure.

Responsibility and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied as available without a promise of uninterrupted service, error-free output or suitability for every child. We do not exclude warranties, remedies or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate contractual liability is limited to the greater of US $100 and the fees you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit. They do not remove mandatory consumer or privacy rights.

Applicable law, disputes and updates

Subject to mandatory protections applicable where you live, these Terms are governed by Israeli law. Nothing requires you to waive a non-waivable local remedy or bring a claim in a forum where applicable law protects your right to proceed elsewhere. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern; this does not restrict your right to contact regulators or courts. These Terms do not require arbitration or a class-action waiver.

We will publish changes with an effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes requiring renewed agreement or parental permission will not be applied on the basis of silent acceptance alone. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. Contact details appear at the beginning of this document.
